Jeffrey was born in Columbus, Mississippi, but moved soon thereafter to Lafayette, Louisiana, where he was raised. He attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, receiving All-American honors in soccer and graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Chemistry in 2003. In 2003, he enrolled in law school at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2006.
Upon graduating from law school, Jeffrey entered into private practice with Tillman & Willett in Alexandria, Louisiana, practicing bankruptcy and corporate law. In 2008, he joined the Rowe Law Firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, practicing primarily family law. He joined the firm of Loftin, Cain & LeBlanc in 2013. He joined the firm of Loftin, Cain & LeBlanc, LLC, in 2013, where he continues to primarily practice in all areas of family law, as well as real estate law, estate planning/successions, and personal injury law.
Jeffrey is a member of the American and Louisiana Bar Associations, Southwest Louisiana Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), along with the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, and Southwest Louisiana Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section – Family Law Section.
